Put on the shoes you normally wear and ask someone to measure the distance from the floor to your wrist while your arms hang relaxed at your sides. The number of inches between your wrist and the floor is the correct cane length. This is the most accurate method.

Also, you may refer to the chart in the gallery photos, but note that it is less accurate.

My wife says the polar bear is my spirit animal.

After using aluminum canes for years, I saw this design and fell in love with it. It is the best cane I have ever used. I'm a large guy and it supports me just great. Not to mention all the complements it gets. My wife says the polar bear is my spirit animal.

Beautiful cane! Quality craftsmanship!!!!

Awesome purchase. Looks great and very helpful

Very well made

I love this cane! I got it because I have arthritis in my knee and was having trouble walking over uneven ground. I chose this cane because of the original design. I looked all over the internet for canes and this is the only polar bear I saw. The cane is very well made, sturdy and fits perfectly with my hand. The detail in the polar bear design is stunning and detailed. I take her with me wherever I go now!

Beautiful white polar bear cane

This sturdy handcrafted cane is my second cane purchased from Asterom. I could't resist the white polar bear carved handle to use during the winter while out in the snow walking my dog. These canes are very well crafted using high quality material, I find them lightweight but substantial. They come packaged very nicely and I have no doubt they hold up very well. It was easy to put together and I didn't have any trouble cutting it to the length I need, even though the oak wood is very hard. Excellent finish and the detail on the polar bear is great. I can highly recommend any of the Ukrainian made Asterom canes.

Asterom canes made a Bald Eagle cane, as always a beautiful cane. The quality of the hand carved and hand painted Eagle is absolutely amazing. I bought one for myself and one for my father-in-law. Both are great. The pictures don’t do it justice. I’m very proud to have such a great piece of artwork for my cane. I actually have bought several canes from Alex and Asterom canes. He is a great person and a great company.

I seldom write reviews but when I first held this little gem, I had to. I have been using canes to assist with my walking for many years. I have had wood and aluminum canes during that time. About 9 years ago I found a handmade solid wood cane that I loved. It lasted up until about 5 months ago. Since then I went through 3 cheaper ones. Then I found this. I Love it! This cane feels even heavier and more sturdy than my last wooden one and I expect it to bring me many years of joy and support
