Well, it's from Asterom, so it's an excellent product. Suitable for a hefty, man's cane, such as those the company also sells. Looks great, fits comfortably and reeks of quality. Yes, it will look silly on your cheap tourist cane from the drugstore.

Well made item — soft, comfortable leather. It took me a while to figure out how to attach the wrist strap to my cane, but pics in the reviews were very helpful. I can now hold onto the cane using the wrist loop (no more dropping it) and hang it easily. Great product with great workmanship!

I had a hard time figuring out how to put this on my cane, but the company's owner personally sent me pictures that showed me simply how to do it! Having a nice strap on the cane keeps me from dropping it, and gives me a simple way to hand it up or on the back of a chair when I sit down. So I'd say it's a great, well made product, quite useful, and the customer service was excellent.

I was pleased. I did not have to slip the loop over the bottom on the cane. The strap has a velcro attachment that wraps around the cane at the top. The item arrived promptly.

I have a vintage shillelagh I found in an antique store in Galway, Ireland. I really wanted a strap on it, but didn't want to have to drill a hole in it or otherwise deface this wonderful old piece. This strap is perfect. It fits securely, it is well made, and it enhances the appearance of the cane.

Genuine leather (cowhide, I believe), riveted together, metal hinging pieces are completely solid, leather wrist strap is supple, hook-and-loop wrap-around is quite secure. This strap is made from good quality leather and is soft to the touch. It’s a nice compliment to my stylish Asterom walking cane. It allows me to free up my hand and not drop my cane.
