Hand-Painted Birdie Walking Cane for Women

I told my husband, if I ever need a cane, I want a pretty one! This is a beautiful cane! It’s sturdy and I like that I can adjust the height! The handle is comfortable to hold and it’s PRETTY! :)

Easy to assemble the folding cane. Seems sturdy when using it. Have not yet taken it out of the house but believe it will help with balance when walking on uneven surfaces.The Hummingbird at top of the cane is beautiful.

I love it! Have received so many compliments regarding the bird handle. It’s a very light device, yet very sturdy. I have received the sparrow head cane and it is simply beautiful. It makes me smile and my painful knee hurt less. It is like holding a bird in my hand when I walk. Structurally, the stick is solid wood, as is the handle. It is overall sturdy. I am truly happy.

This cane is perfect! It’s beautifully designed and painted, sturdy, and made well with quality materials. It’s exactly the right length (suggested for my height). It arrived quickly and in perfect condition because it was very carefully wrapped and prepared for shipping. My wife liked the first cane she got from the Asterom company so much that I got her this one as well. It’s a beautiful example of fine craftsmanship and excellent design. I tried to purchase a cane from a different company and it arrived damaged twice due to lousy packaging. The people at Asterom did an amazing job coming up with a well thought out shipping container.

I love the stability this larger stick part offers it is not heavy. The rubber bottom is a little larger than the, skinny plain canes.

Not wanting to use a cane until I saw this Chickadee. For my first cane this is the cutest one I've ever seen. Very stable and I do use the strap since I'm still getting the hang of it. I walk my 3 pound Chihuahua and people smile.My heart goes out to this family business who continue to make such a fine product in time of war.

This cane is perfect. I am 5'6" and ordered the cane for my height. It is perfect. The carved handle feels good in my hand and the bird is beautiful. It is sturdy and non-slip and even comes with an extra rubber tip for when the original one wears out.

Good product. Larger in size. I prefer a slender cane but carved wood handle comfortable

If it’s time to start protecting yourself from falls by loosing your balance this is a fun cane to use.loss of balance can be a disaster for seniors. We don’t appreciate how loosing the ability to move independently is until you can’t. A cane could add years onto our lives helping us stay safely upright. This fun looking cane makes me feel safer and is a conversation starter when strangers see it. The only negative feature I can note is that the handle is the body and tail of a sweet little chickadee. Who maybe has spent too much time at the bird feeder and is a little chubby so the grip takes a while to become comfortable with. However the chickadee is very well done and fun to use. I use it indoors in the winter and put a wrist lanyard on to to keep it from getting away from me . I use other plainer canes outdoors in the rain, slush and snow to keep it nice. Mine came with a metal stick that was adjustable which I am glad about so I can change the length easily when I wear low heels to dress up.

An outstanding cane! Sturdy and well made with attention to details that I as a wood worker appreciate. I would highly recommend this cane to anyone who needs a functional cane but wants to go beyond drugstore aluminum.

My mother is head over heels in love with this gorgeous cane. Not only is it beautiful, but it is very well-made. For her, I selected the brown bird with the copper-brown adjustable aluminum pole.The craftsmanship of the cane is simply beautiful. My mom loves the elegant bird handle. It took her breath away when I presented it to her. Using it makes her feel elegant. She doesn't always need it, but when she does, she's proud to use it.For me, I chose the aluminum version of the cane because it is easily adjustable. For the brown bird option, the aluminum shaft is a gorgeous copper-brown color. As much as I would have LOVED the full wood version, cutting it down to the right height for her would have been hit and miss. Then I would've been mad at myself if I cut it too short by error. The aluminum shaft is not as pretty, but it offers adjustability. It also allows the cane to collapse down to a smaller form. The joints have shims that can be tightened down to keep the cane from rattling.What's great about this cane is that my mom wants to use it. She's not embarrassed to use it. It displays what she loves. She is an avid bird watcher. But there are times she is limited by vertigo and needs a cane to keep her balance. The lovely cane allows her to walk without fear and feel elegant at the same time. A grand cane for a grand dame.For me, this cane is worth every penny for how much it's made my mom happy to use it.
